Poland

So we just got into Krakow off one of the dirtiest trains I think I have ever been on. On this train was a homeless guy who locked himself in the one bathroom for the entire train ride to avoid the conductor. After getting off the train we were able to explore the city a little. We went to St. Mary cathedral, St Marks church, and a castle which were all amazing. After our day of exploring we decided to go and get some traditional polish food. The place we went to was really good and also really cheap. We got a meal that would probably cost about 50$ in the states for about 15 here. Overall the city is very different from the others we have visited but still very nice. Tomorrow we go to Auschwitz to see the concentration camp which should definitely be an experience.

I have not posted on here in a couple of days because we didn't have internet at our hotel. Madrid is an amazing city that literally never sleeps! Yesterday was our last night here and today we head to Barcelona for a night. I'll try to post pictures next time I get access to the I internet.

Day 5

Day 5
Today is our last day in Paris. So far out of the two places we have visited, Paris is my favorite. On our last day we decided to see the Louvre and the Cathedrale de  Notre’ Dame.  Our first stop was the Louvre. Words cannot describe how exquisite the museum and all of the art that is displayed in it. Not only is the art amazing but the architecture that went into the museum along with its very rich history makes it even more impressive. We saw everything from famous sculptures, tombs, and paintings. The most famous piece of art that we were able to see was the Mona Lisa which basically needs its own room to hold the large crowds that come to see it. After spending two and a half hours in the 35,000 exhibit Louvre we headed over to Notre dame. The Notre Dame cathedral is massive and the architecture is also amazing. I have never seen a cathedral so large and as intricately done as Notre Dame. It was also very interesting to see people interact in the cathedral who seemed to travel all over to see this cathedral as a kind of religious pilgrimage.  Overall our last day in Paris was very successful and we are now heading to the train station t  o move on to our next stop, Madrid.
