Day 2

After a pretty difficult night of sleep because of the jet-lag, today we visited a couple very cool spots in London. To start off our day we went to Buckingham palace and saw the changing of the guard. This ceremony is extremely well done and pretty amazing to watch. The Guards march around the grounds of the palace to the tune of the 007 theme song played by marching band. After the changing of the guard we went to the borough market in Camberwell. The market sits under the London bridge and is covered in very interesting fresh foods. Literally everywhere you walk in this market you can find fresh foods. After almost an hour of shopping around and trying different samples we decided to try ostrich burgers that actually turned out to be very good. We also went to a curry stand, which served a chicken curry. After the Market we went to possibly the biggest department store ever, Harrods. This store is perfect for any shopper without a budget. Harrods is a 6 floor department store filled with designer clothing and furniture that will fit any millionaires needs. The place also houses a giant sphinx statue and has its own set of restaurants, which seem to be very fine dining. Our last stop of the day was the tower of London where we got to look around the outside of the castle.
